6 - WEEK MUFFINS 
1 (15-16 oz.) Bran Flake cereal
3 c. sugar
5 c. flour
5 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
1 c. melted Crisco
1 qt. buttermilk
Optional additions: Chopped nuts Grated apple Coconut Chocolate chips Blueberries

Mix dry ingredients. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Store in glass or plastic (Tupperware) containers in refrigerator for up to 6 weeks. Bake only as many as you want at a time. Bake at 375 degrees for 18-21 minutes.

Raisin Bran, All Bran, Fruit-n-Fiber, etc.

1 cup applesauce may be substituted.

Optionals can be added to entire batter or only to the portion being used - something different every day.
