SIX WEEKS BRAN MUFFINS 
15 oz. box bran cereal with raisins
3 c. sugar
5 c. all purpose flour
1 tbsp. plus 2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt (optional)
4 eggs, beaten
1 c. oil
1 qt. buttermilk

Mix cereal with sugar, flour, soda and salt in large bowl. Add eggs, oil and buttermilk. Spoon batter into greased muffin pans, filling 2/3 full. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. This batter can be stored in covered container in refrigerator for up to 6 weeks and use as desired. Makes 7 to 8 dozen.
