DUNDEE TEA BARS 
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. chopped glaced cherries
Pinch salt
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. golden raisins
(Glaced pineapple)

Cream butter and sugar; beat in eggs. Fold in flour mixed with baking powder and spice. Add vanilla and fruits. Spread in a greased 9-inch pan lined with greased waxed paper.

Bake at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Turn out on rack and peel off paper. Spread with Lemon Glaze:

LEMON GLAZE:

1/2 c. confectioners sugar, sifted
1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice

Mix together. Cut into bars.
