CREOLE GINGERBREAD 
3/4 c. dark molasses
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. Wesson oil
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. ground ginger
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. boiling water

Mix in order listed. Dissolve soda in boiling water. Bake in shallow oiled pan in a moderate oven; 350 degrees 30 to 40 minutes.
