ORANGE-BUTTERED CARROTS 
4 c. sliced carrots
3 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. grated orange peel
1/2 tsp. salt

Cover and microwave carrots in 1 quart casserole on high 5 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes; stir. Cover and microwave until carrots are tender, 5 to 6 minutes; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients. 5 to 6 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
