JAM COOKIES 
2 sticks butter
2 egg yolks
2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
Favorite jam

Cream sugar and butter with spoon, add yolks, vanilla, and flour. Stir until blended. Make small balls. Dip in egg whites, then in chopped pecans.

Bake at 350 degrees for 3-5 minutes. Remove from oven and press each cookie down with finger. Return to oven and finish baking, 20 minutes. While cookies are still hot, put jam in each indentation.
