ST. CROIX COLE SLAW WITH HORSERADISH | |
4 cups cabbage, finely chopped or shredded 2 cups carrot, finely chopped or shredded 1/4 cup sour cream 1/3 cup mayonnaise several dashes of salt, or to taste juice of 1/3 of a lemon 1 tablespoon sugar, or to taste 1 tablespoon horseradish salt sugar Combine cabbage with carrots in a salad bowl and mix in 1/4 cup sour cream, mayonnaise, sugar, horseradish and a dash or two of salt. Squeeze in 1/3 of a lemon. Mix well; cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours for best flavor. Use on tacos with flank steak and cilantro! Submitted by: mark keller |
