STRAWBERRY *POP* CAKE | |
Great for hot days, very light and refreshing. This can be made into a trifle too. The pudding is great to eat all by itself! 1 box yellow cake mix 1 (5 oz.) box strawberry jello (family size) 1 cup strawberry soda Make cake according to package directions on the box using a 9x13-inch pan. Place jello in a saucepan on top of stove, then add the strawberry soda, NO WATER! Let this come to a boil. Take off heat. When cake is done baking, poke holes all through the cake. Pour jello over cake. Place cake in refrigerator for the jello to set. PUDDING FROSTING: 1 (5 oz.) box instant vanilla pudding (family size) 1 1/2 cups milk 1 (16 oz.) tub Cool Whip ONLY add 1 1/2 cups of milk, mix well and fold in Cool Whip. When the jello sets spread pudding over cake. Place in refrigerator for the pudding to thicken. Enjoy! :) Submitted by: Amy (Georgia) |
