TOMATO CONSERVE 
7 lb. ripe tomatoes
3 lb. sugar
1 pt. vinegar (cider)
1 tbsp. whole cloves
3 tbsp. stick cinnamon in bag

Peel and cut up tomatoes. Boil 3/4 hour without adding water. Drain through a sieve and throw away liquid part. Add remaining ingredients to pulp and boil slowly for 1 hour. Pour into jelly jars and seal. Delicious with any kind of meat!
