BEEF BRISKET | |
2 to 3 lb. brisket (NOT corned beef, single or flat cut is best) Garlic salt Worcestershire sauce Pepper Place meat in a shallow pan that is approximately the size of the meat. Season meat with garlic salt and pepper. Sprinkle generously with Worcestershire sauce. Cover tightly with lid or foil. Bake at 300 degrees at least 1 hour per pound. Slice down when cool and lay slices in the juice in the roasting pan. This is most delicious if done earlier in the day and slices soak up the juice. A half hour before serving, reheat. Serves 6 to 8. |
