CORNED BEEF AND CABBAGE 
3 lbs. corned beef brisket
1 lg. onion, quartered
1 head cabbage, cut into sm. wedges
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. sugar
1 c. water

Combine all ingredients in crock pot with cabbage on top. Cut meat in pieces if necessary to fit in crock pot. Cook on low 10-12 hours or on high 6-7 hours. Yield: 4 servings.

Would this recipe be great - using Kielbasa instead of the corned beef brisket ? Think this is the way I will try it since a danged Corned Beef Brisket now cost the same as a down payment on a car....
