CARAMEL APPLE SQUARES 
1 3/4 c. flour
1 c. quick cooking oats
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1 c. chopped walnuts
20 caramels
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (21 oz.) can apple filling

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In large bowl, combine flour, oats, sugar, baking soda, and salt; cut in butter until crumbly. Reserve 1 1/2 cups, press remaining in bottom of 13"x9" pan. Bake 15 minutes. Add nuts to remaining crumbs.
