RAINBOW BUTTER CAKE | |
3/4 c. butter 1 c. plus 2 tbsp. sugar 1/2 c. eggs 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 2 3/4 c. sifted cake flour 2 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1/2 c. milk Food coloring Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and beat at high speed. Add vanilla. Add flour alternately with milk. Add baking powder. Beat until smooth. Divide batter into 3 portions. Add color to each. Grease and flour pan (bundt). Spoon in colored batter; mix gently with blade of knife. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes more or until done. Cool in pan on rack for 15 minutes. Remove from pan. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar when cool. |
