SAUSAGE AND EGG CASSEROLE 
6 slices bread
1/2 doz. eggs
2 c. milk
1 lb. sausage, I use Jimmy Dean
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Remove crust from bread and spread with butter. Place buttered side down in 13 x 9 x 2 casserole dish. Mix eggs, milk, salt and dry mustard. Fry sausage, drain and crumble. Sprinkle sausage over bread, then add egg and milk mixture, and cheese. Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours. (Better if sits overnight). Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. Good for breakfast or brunch. Serve with a fresh fruit cup.
