REFRIGERATED MUFFIN MIX | |
6 c. All Bran 2 c. boiling water 1 c. shortening 2 1/2 c. white sugar 4 eggs, beaten 1 qt. buttermilk 5 c. flour 5 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt Soda 2 cups All Bran in boiling water. Cream together shortening, sugar, eggs and buttermilk. Add to soaked bran mixture. Mix together 4 cups All Bran, flour, soda and salt. Add to egg mixture and stir all together. Store in refrigerator and bake as needed. Add raisins, dates or blueberries if desired. Stir after it stands before baking. Can be put in paper cups and frozen. Bake as needed - 350 degrees for 15 minutes. This keeps in refrigerator for 6 weeks. |
