2 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
3 c. plain flour
1 1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. Crisco
5 lg. eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter, Crisco and sugar until fluffy. Sift together flour and baking powder. Add flour mixture alternating with milk. Begin and end with flour. Beat well. Add vanilla. Bake in bundt pan 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Cool 10 minutes in pan.
