CHICKEN FRICASSEE 
1 chicken, cut up
Flour
1/4 c. oil
1 c. liquid
1 sm. onion, diced
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika

Dry white wine, or chicken broth, or cream of chicken, celery, or mushroom soup.

Coat chicken well with flour, brown in oil. Add remaining ingredients, heat to boiling. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 2 hours or until tender (adding water if needed). Can use liquid to make gravy by adding flour - blend until smooth.
