GOOD QUICK BREAD 
1 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. warm water (temp. is important)
1 c. water (warm, not too warm, about hairwashing temp.)
2 tbsp. sugar
12 tbsp. butter or Wesson oil
1 tsp. salt
3 c. plain flour (don't pack)

Dissolve yeast in warm water, add a pinch of salt. Add remaining ingredients. You can pour in well greased pan or grease hands with grease and roll bread into golfball size balls. Put in an 8"x8" pan. Cover, let rise in warm place at least one hour. For a loaf pan, bake at 450 degrees for at least 15 minutes, reduce to 300 degrees and bake for 30 minutes. For rolls, bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes until brown on top.
