CAN-DO-QUICK SWEET BREAD
2 pkgs. dry yeast
1 1/4 c. buttermilk
5 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
2 eggs
1/2 c. butter
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt (optional)

Heat all the liquids and butter to 120-130 degrees. Add the yeast, sugar and some of the flour. Mix up and add the eggs. Continue mixing and add all the flour gradually.

When the dough comes clean from the bowl, it is ready to shape into loaves or cinnamon rolls. I like to bake one loaf of bread and make one 13x9 baking dish of cinnamon rolls.

For my cinnamon rolls, I melt 2 tablespoons of butter, which I spread on the dough. To that I add sugar and cinnamon mixture (make to suit you taste). Before I roll up the cinnamon rolls, I add about 1/2 cup chopped fine apples and raisins. You let the bread rise once, then bake until brown. Bake at 350 degrees about 30 minutes. Cinnamon rolls should be covered with glaze while warm.
