BLUEBERRY BREAD 
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. grated orange rind (opt.)
1/2 c. orange juice
2 tbsp. butter (in 1/4 c. boiling water)
1 c. blueberries

Cream together sugar and egg. Sift, blend and add to first mixture, 1 3/4 cup flour (reserve 1/4 cup to shake over berries, soda and salt. Add grated orange rind (optional), orange juice and butter (in boiling water). Fold in blueberries (after coating with remaining 1/4 cup flour). Bake in greased and floured loaf pan for 1 hour at 350 degrees. When cool, glaze with 1 tablespoon orange juice and 1/2 cup powdered sugar.
