BERKSHIRE PUDDING 
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
2 sq. chocolate (unsweetened)
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. pecans
1/2 lb. vanilla wafers

Mix sugar and butter until creamy. Melt chocolate and cool slightly. Add to creamy mixture. Add eggs, one at a time, beating 5 minutes after each one. Add vanilla and nuts. Pour in a buttered pan lined with vanilla wafer crumbs. Cover top of pudding with more crumbs. Refrigerate 12 hours before serving.
