PEANUT BUTTER DOUBLE DECKERS 
CHOCOLATE SOUR CREAM LAYER:

1 egg
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. sour cream
2/3 c. flour
1/3 c. cocoa powder
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
Dash salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat together egg and sugar. Add sour cream and beat again. Set aside. Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir into sour cream mixture. Add vanilla and nuts, mixing well.

Spread batter into a greased 9-inch square pan and then set aside.

PEANUT BUTTER LAYER:

1/2 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
6 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. (3 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Cream together peanut butter, butter and sugar; beat in eggs. Thoroughly mix in flour. Add chocolate chips. Spoon carefully over chocolate sour cream layer in pan, spreading evenly. Bake for 35-40 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool. Cut into 2-inch squares. Yield: 16 brownies. Each: about 270 calories, 14 g fat, 51 mg cholesterol, 120 mg sodium.
