MANDAIN STIR FRY 
1 lb. chicken, pork or beef, cut into thin strips
2 c. (1/2 lb.) broccoli flowerets
1 c. cauliflower
2 onions, cut into thin wedges
1 carrot, cut into 2" julienne strips
1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced

Sauce: In bowl mix 2 tablespoons cornstarch and 1 1/4 cups water until smooth. Stir in 1/3 cup soy sauce, 1/3 cup light or dark corn syrup and 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. Bring to a boil, boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.

1. In large skillet or wok heat 2 tablespoons corn oil over medium heat; add meat and stir fry 5 minutes or until tender. Remove from pan.

2. Heat 2 tablespoons of corn oil; add broccoli, cauliflower, carrot and onion. Stir fry 2 minutes. Add mushrooms and stir fry 1 minute more.

3. Return meat to pan; mix well. Serve on rice.
