GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE | |
2 cans French style green beans, drained 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. sugar 2 tbsp. flour 4 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. Lipton onion soup 1 c. Corn Flakes, crushed 1 lb. Swiss cheese, grated 8 oz. sour cream Drain green beans and place in casserole dish. Melt 2 teaspoons butter in saucepan. Add flour, salt, sugar and soup mix. Stir in sour cream slowly. Bring to mild boil. Stir white sauce with green beans. Spread grated cheese over mixture. Spread crushed Corn Flakes over cheese. Melt 2 tablespoons butter and spread over Corn Flakes. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes or until mixture is visibly bubbling. |
