SPECIAL BLACKBERRY JAM 
6 c. blackberries
1/2 c. water
3 lbs. sugar
3/4 c. orange juice
1/3 c. lemon juice
2 tbsp. grated orange rind

Cook berries with water until heated through. Rub through a strainer and return to the saucepan.

Add the sugar and cook over low heat, stirring constantly until the sugar is dissolved.

Add orange juice, lemon juice and orange rind; mix well.

Bring to a boil and boil rapidly until jam has reached the setting point. Pour into warm sterilized jars and seal immediately.
