OLD FASHIONED EGG CUSTARD 
1 1/2 c. plain flour
1/2 c. Crisco
1/4 c. hot water
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix flour, salt, and Crisco; add hot water and mix until smooth. Roll on waxed paper. Makes 1 (10 inch) crust.

CUSTARD:

5 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash salt

Beat eggs in mixing bowl; add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Continue beating while adding milk, vanilla, and salt. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Dot with butter and cook at 300 degrees for about 1 hour and 15 minutes or until set.
