ITALIAN LOAF | |
1 lb. bulk sausage 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 1 1/2 oz. pkg. McCormick spaghetti sauce 1 lb. can tomatoes Loaf of bread 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese Brown sausage with green pepper; drain fat. Mix in spaghetti sauce. Add tomatoes, simmer 10 minutes, stirring to break up tomatoes. Slice bread almost in half lengthwise. Pull out some of the bread to make 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs. Combine crumbs with sausage mixture. Sprinkle with shredded Mozzarella cheese. Wrap in foil and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Serves 4. |
