JACQUIE'S NIGHT BEFORE FRENCH
TOAST
 
1 (10 oz.) loaf thick sliced French bread
8 eggs (or equivalent in egg substitute)
1/2 tsp. cinnamon (if desired)
3 c. milk
4 tbsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. vanilla

Spray 9 x 13 inch pan with Pam. Arrange single layer of bread in the pan. Mix remaining ingredients thoroughly. Pour over bread. Refrigerate (covered) 4 to 36 hours.

To bake: uncover pan, bake at 350 degrees 45 to 50 minutes until puffy and slightly browned. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. 4 to 6 servings.
