PORK CHOPS AND SCALLOPED
POTATOES
 
6 pork chips, thin
5 c. sliced potatoes
6-8 slices American cheese
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. chopped scallions
1 can cream of celery soup
1 1/4 c. milk

In greased casserole put 1/2 of potatoes. Top with cheese and then add rest of potatoes. Brown pork chops on one side. Reserve drippings. Place pork chops brown side up on top of potatoes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. In drippings brown onions until soft. Add soup and milk. Cook until bubbly. Pour over chops. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees covered for 1 hour. Remove foil and cook another 30 minutes.
