1 box cake mix or your own recipe
1 (10 inch) round cake pan, greased & floured
1 can Thank You brand pie filling

Turn oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 10 inch cake pan. Mix cake batter. Pour batter into pan. Spoon cherries on cake batter starting in the middle and work out to the edge. Do not put cherries on edge.

Put cake into oven and bake 1 hour. Test cake with toothpick to make sure it is baked through. Leave cake cool for 10 minutes and remove from pan. Cool completely before cutting. You can eat as is or with a scoop of Cool Whip, or ice cream.
