CREAMY RICE PUDDING 
6 c. milk (2% or whole)
1 c. long grain white rice
1/2 c. raisins
1 c. heavy (whipping) cream
3 egg yolks (beaten)
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
Cinnamon

Combine milk and rice. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer until rice is just about done, 55 minutes.

Combine cream, egg yolks, vanilla, salt, sugar and raisins. Add to cooked rice. Cook over moderate heat, stirring until thick.

Pour into serving dish and sprinkle cinnamon on top. Serve warm or cover and store in refrigerator.
