GRAMS CREAMY RICE PUDDING 
1 qt. milk
1/3 c. rice (scant)
1/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Scald milk in top of double boiler. Add rice and cook over simmering water one hour. Put lid on pot while simmering; stir often especially the first fifteen minutes to twenty minutes; beat eggs and sugar together and add to the rice mixture, stirring vigorously with a fork. Add vanilla and remove from heat; pudding will thicken as it cools.
