YELLOW CAKE WITH LEMON SAUCE 
1 box yellow cake mix
1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding mix
1/2 c. oil
1 c. water
4 eggs

Blend ingredients in large mixer bowl, then beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Cover into greased and floured 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Leave in pan.

LEMON SAUCE:

1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. water
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. sugar
1 egg, well beaten

Combine all ingredients. Cool over medium heat, stirring constantly until boiling. Serve warm. May be refrigerated and reheated. Yield 1 1/3 cups.
