CABBAGE AND HAMBURG CASSEROLE 
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 lg. green pepper, chopped
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 med. head cabbage, shredded
1 can tomato soup, undiluted
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 c. rice

Saute onion and pepper in 3 tablespoons butter - add and lightly brown hamburg and drain off fat. Add rice to meat. Season to taste. Place half of cabbage into large casserole. Top with meat mixture. Cover with remaining cabbage. Pour soup over top. Cover and bake 1 hour at 375 degrees.
