FRENCH TOASTED CAKE 
1 egg
1/4 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. granulated sugar
Dash nutmeg
6 (1/2 inch) slices Baker's pound cake
2 tbsp. butter

Beat egg, milk, salt, sugar, nutmeg. Dip cake in the mix, then saute in butter until browned on both sides.
