FRENCH COFFEE CAKE 
2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 tbsp. vanilla

FILLING:

3/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts

Sift flour once. Measure, add baking powder, soda, salt, sift again. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beat well after each one. Add vanilla to sour cream.

Add alternately with dry ingredients beating after each addition, until smooth. Pour batter into 9 inch greased tube pan in 3 parts. Sprinkle filling between each part and on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
