FRENCH APPLE CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
1 c. walnuts, chopped
4 c. chopped apples fine
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon

Cream oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Beat again. Add dry ingredients alternately with apples. Stir in walnuts. Pour into ungreased glass baking dish, 8 1/2 x 13 1/2 inch. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
