HOT GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
7-8 med. to lg. potatoes
1/2 lb. bacon
1 finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp. celery flakes
1/2 c. red or white vinegar
1/4 c. bacon drippings
2 tbsp. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt

Microwave potatoes for about 18 minutes on high. Cool until easy to handle. Fry bacon until brown, drain; save drippings. Slice potatoes into bowl. Mix sugar and flour well.

Into skillet, put bacon drippings, vinegar, celery flakes and salt. Stir flour and sugar mixture into the skillet and mix well, cooking until thickened. Pour over potatoes in bowl, mix well. Just before serving, add crumbled bacon and toss well. Best served warm.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
