MEAT PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground pork
1 c. hot water
1 c. bread crumbs
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp. mace
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
Pastry for 2 pies

Pour the cup of hot water over the combined meats in a saucepan. Cook 10 minutes over low heat. Add bread crumbs and seasonings. Put filling in pastry and bake 20-30 minutes at 400 degrees until pie crust is done.
