FRENCH MEAT PIE 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
3/4 lb. ground pork
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. Lowry's salt
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 c. water
1 med. onion, diced
1 c. crushed bread crumbs
Pie crust

Mix meats, onion, seasonings, and water; cook slowly for 1/2 hour. Cool meat and add bread crumbs.

Put in pie shell; cover with crust. Make 4 small slits in top crust. Brush with egg. Bake at 350 degrees 45-60 minutes.
