BEET PICKLES 
2 c. sugar
2 c. vinegar
6 dill heads
3 c. juice, beets were cooked in
Beets to fill 6 pts.

Cook beets, remove skins. In a large pan put sugar, juice and vinegar. Bring to boil, add beets. Bring to boil. Put a head of dill in bottom of 6 pint jars Fill jars with beets and liquid they were cooked in. Seal. Put jars in hot water, bring to boil. Boil 7 minutes. Remove jars and allow to cool.
