OPEN-FACE SANDWICHES 
1 lb. ground beef or chuck
1/2 c. diced green pepper
1/4 c. diced onion
1/2 c. ketchup
1/4 c. yellow mustard
1/2 c. diced cheese, any kind you like
4-5 hamburger buns

Mix raw ground beef with green pepper and onion. Stir in ketchup and mustard. Fold in diced cheese. Place buns, opened up, on cookie sheet. Spoon on about 1/2 cup ground beef mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. May be frozen and baked later. Increase baking time to 30 minutes.
