FRIED BATTERED FISH 
2 lbs. Grouper Fillet
1 c. self rising cornmeal
2 fresh limes, squeezed
1 tsp. pepper (black)
2 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1 tsp. lemon pepper
Salt seasoning

Take fillet grouper cut into finger shape. Wash. Then add squeezed lime juice pepper (black), seasoned salt and lemon pepper seasoning. Let soak for an hour. Now coat batter fish with cornmeal then fry in about 2 cups of Crisco or Puritan oil until golden brown or to your taste. Another dish that goes with this, which is a favorite of his too, is Peas and Rice, but that's another story.
