UPSIDE DOWN PIE 
3 tsp. Crisco
1 c. flour (plain)
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 egg
2 c. berries

Cream sugar and shortening, add egg, then flour mixture and milk. Pour into baking dish. Put 2 cups berries and juice over top. Sprinkle 3/4 cup sugar over berries and dot with butter. Bake at 375 degrees until brown. Serve plain, with ice cream or whipped cream.
