ONION CASSEROLE 
4 c. sliced onions
1/2 c. butter
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. sour cream
shredded Cheddar cheese

Topping:

1 1/4 c. cornbread stuffing mix
melted butter

Cook onions in butter until clear. Mix all, except stuffing and cheese. Put in baking dish. Sprinkle cheese over top. Mix stuffing mix and melted butter. Spoon over top.

Bake at 300°F to 350°F until light brown.

Note: Can use cream of chicken and mushroom soup.
