ONION CASSEROLE 
2 lg. sweet onions, sliced and separated
1 egg, beaten
1 c. heavy whipping cream
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. sharp cheddar cheese

Combine onion with enough water to cover in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil one minute. Drain. Transfer to baking dish. Combine egg, cream, salt and pepper. Pour over the onions. Sprinkle with grated cheese and paprika. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
