3 c. flour
6 tbsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
2 c. milk
3 egg yolks
3 egg whites, whipped stiff
Crisco shortening

Combine flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Mix together the milk and egg yolks. Combine flour and milk mixtures and beat until smooth. Fold in egg whites. Fry in generous amounts of hot Crisco shortening until golden brown.
