CHEF NO-'S VENUS de MILO SOUP 
1 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion
2 qts. water
1 pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
3/4 c. orzo pasta
1/2 c. Italian tomato paste
2 cans Italian stewed tomatoes
5 beef bouillon cubes

Peel and chop onion. Saute hamburger until browned. Drain off fat and place hamburger, onion, water, bouillon cubes, tomato paste and stewed tomatoes in 4 quart or larger stock pot. Cover, bring to a boil and reduce to simmer for 30 minutes. Add mixed frozen vegetables, return to boil and reduce to simmer for 25 minutes. Add orzo pasta and cook on medium heat for 15 minutes. Serve with grated Romano cheese and toasted garlic bread triangles. (Excellent first course for veal dish.)
