PASTA E FAGIOLI 
1 can great northern beans
1 can ce ce beans
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
2 cloves garlic

Brown garlic in oil (cover bottom of 4 quart pan). Add tomato paste and 1 can of water, (tomato paste can). Simmer for about 3 minutes. Add 2 cans of water, salt to taste, and sugar (about a handful). Bring to a boil, then simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Cook small shells (1/2 pound) until al dente. Rinse and mix with beans.
