HOMEMADE PANCAKE SYRUP 
1 c. water
2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. molasses
1 tsp. maple flavor
1/2 tsp. butter flavor (optional)

Bring water to a boil, then slowly add sugar. Heat slowly and stir until all sugar is dissolved. Stir in flavorings. Simmer until desired consistency is attained. Let cool.

Makes about 1 3/4 cups of syrup.
